A submission from a visitor to the site a few days ago was very unexpected, yet led to both an interesting revelation and the decision to open up the details related to my vision.
The instinct to secure these details was indeed an artifact of running commercial ventures over the years where positioning and proprietary assets are the name of the game. The risk of releasing information at this stage in the organization’s growth is that someone will realize the power of the idea, steal it and fulfill its vision. Yet as the geninue intention of the organization is to make a positive contribution to those in need, if my role is simply to be the beginning of something larger than I control, I will have succeeded in my goal.
